Report Exchanging Service from CB Report to CNS Report
The neutralizing measure about the CB report of BSMI (Official Journal: No. 093300005922- issued on R. O. C. 93-9-2) enabled customers to exchange an already issued CB report into CNS certified one by testing only for the deviations with CNS and by submitting other necessary documents. In other words, customer can acquire product safety report for Taiwan without new and full applications of product safety test for CNS standard.

Attention at the time of Report Exchange
CB Reports issued before June 30, 2005 can be exchanged by this service. CB Reports issued on July 1, 2005 or later are not applicable. For cases as such, full tests for product safety in accordance with CNS standard is necessary.
The products of which reports are exchangeable from CB Report are only as below. CB Report Exchange for products other than following is not acceptable.
- Information Technology Equipment (ITE)
- Uninterruptible Power supply (UPS)
- Data processor and accessories of motor vehicle, Static Converter for communications equipment, and other exchange-type power supply unit
- ITE with Audio Visual functions
Only the engineer of BSMI accredited laboratory for product safety testing can perform the work for the report exchange. The local JEL tie-up local laboratory for product safety tests are BSMI accredited, of which engineers carry out the report exchange works with responsibility. - A drawing and position of logo mark to be attached
- Photo image of the product (with a scale)

- We recommend pre-checking of CB Report, because Report Exchange work will smoothly be processed if PDF file of CB Report is presented to the local engineer to go through before the actual exchange procedure.
- Several CB Reports do not need tests for the deviation.
Engineer Dispatch Service for CB Report Exchange
We recommend "Engineer Dispatch Service for CB Report Exchange" for the cases that customers need more accurate lead time, or EUT is too large to be transported, by that service an engineer of the accredited laboratory goes to the customer's office to carry out the exchange work there.
On the occasion of an engineer visit to Japan, JEL makes schedule for them to visit plural manufacturers in need of report exchange, therefore it is possible to reduce the cost than inviting an engineer just for your company.

Reservation procedure
Please submit to us the "Inquiry Form" with necessary information filled in after agreement with the Terms of Use for this service to apply for a reservation of "Engineer Dispatch Service for CB Report Exchange". According to the provided information with the Inquiry Form, we check engineer's availability, arrange the schedule, and then issue a quotation.
If the content is acceptable, customers are to order with an official "Application Form for Report Exchange Service", and JEL will send a confirmation email after fixing the date of reservation and the schedule of an engineer in charge.

Please be noted beforehand that when schedule is changed or canceled on account of customers, cancellation rates based on the following policy are applied.

- Departure flight is cancelled or delayed due to natural disaster, act of God, war, armed conflict, labor strike, hijacking or circumstances of airline arranged by the engineer.
